Ingredients needed to make my easy creamsicle cupcake recipe:

Here’s a quick rundown of what you will need to whip up some creamsicle cupcakes at home. It’s all stuff you can easily get your hands on. I’ll link the paper goods and the baking supplies so you can check those out if they’re not readily available to you in stores!

In the printable recipe card at the bottom of the post you’ll find the full amounts, nutritional estimations, and more. Check it out for a quick and simple printable shopping list to take with you to the store.

You will need a boxed vanilla cake mix, orange soda, canned vanilla frosting, whipped topping, orange cupcake liners, orange paper straws, orange sprinkles, and the 1M wilton piping tip and piping bag (if you’d like).

You can also just use a plastic zipper bag with the corner cut off, that works too!

Kitchen Essentials For Cupcake Recipes:

If you are trying to pick out some of the best supplies to stock your kitchen for cake mix recipes and baking in general, these are some of our favorites and must have items.

I like half sheet baking pans that are quality (hello no noisy pops or sloshed cookie dough from twisting), I line my cookie sheets with silicone baking mats. These are a must when doing cake mix recipes which can settle and become thin at lot easier than traditional cookie dough.

Of course mixing bowls, a mixer, spatula, and some whisks should be on your list if you don’t have ones that you love. I also like to have a set of cooling racks so that my recipes can properly cool before they’re scarfed down by my family!

For cupcakes you’ll also need cupcake pans, cupcake liners, and a mixer!
