Cinnamon Cupcakes

INGREDIENTS

Cupcake Ingredients: yellow cake mix Cinnamon Toast Crunch Cereal water cooking oil eggs Frosting Ingredients: salted butter vanilla extract salt heavy whipping cream powdered sugar Cinnamon Toast Crunch Cereal Drizzle Ingredients: Hershey’s Cinnamon Chips milk

STEP 1

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Spray or line a standard muffin tin.

STEP 2

In a large mixing bowl add cake mix, water, oil, and eggs. Using a hand or stand mixer, mix on medium until well incorporated.

STEP 3

Fold in ¾ cup of the crushed Cinnamon Toast Crunch Cereal.

STEP 4

Add batter into the muffin tin until each is about 2/3 full.

STEP 5

Bake for 18-20 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean. Allow to cool completely before frosting.

STEP 6

In a large mixing bowl or stand mixer, cream the butter, and beat until light and fluffy.

STEP 7

Mix in the vanilla extract and salt.

STEP 8

Slowly mix in the powdered sugar, while adding cream in between each cup. Continue to mix until creamy.

STEP 9

Fill your prepared piping bag with frosting. Frost your cupcakes.

STEP 10

In a small bowl, add the cinnamon chips and milk. Heat at 50% power for 25 seconds. Stir.

STEP 11

Drizzle mixture over the frosted cupcakes. Top with a bit of the crushed Cinnamon Toast Crunch Cereal.

STEP 12

Serve and enjoy!
