Prepared and baked per directions

Buttercream frosting

1 Tub Prepared Frosting

M&M Candies

yellow, pastel yellow, and white
Instructions
Bake cupcakes per recipe and cool completely.
Pipe a smooth swirl of frosting on cupcake.
Place rows of M&M’s standing up across the cupcake, alternating colors to look like real corn.
Use 2 cupcakes per corn cob.
Place the corn skewers in the outside of each cupcake as shown.
Notes
Add Butter:
Make a butter pat out of fondant or a piece of marshmallow to place on top of the cupcakes.
Short cut tip:
Bake the cupcakes in advance and just have the kids help with the decorations.
Variation tip:
Make a vegetable basket by making other vegetable cupcakes.
Alternate size:
Mini versions of these cupcakes are great too, make cute little bite size varieties.
Alternate candy:
Truly any candy the right color can be used, try fruit chews or jelly beans for fun.
