Preheat oven to 350 degrees F and fill cupcake tin with liners.
In a large mixing bowl, add the cake mix, pudding mix, water, oil, and egg whites. Using an electric mixer, mix on medium until batter is smooth.
Fold in ¾ cup of the Fruity Pebbles Cereal.
Once batter is smooth, fill cupcake liners until each is about 2/3 full. Sprinkle a pinch of Fruity Pebble cereal on top of batter before baking. Bake for 18-20 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean. Let cupcakes cool fully before frosting.
Vanilla Buttercream
In a clean, large bowl, use an electric mixer to beat 1 - 1/2 cups of softened butter until fluffy.
Slowly incorporate powdered sugar, 1 cup at a time. Add vanilla extract and a tablespoon of yogurt and cream between each cup. Continue to mix until creamy and light.
Fill your piping bag with buttercream and frost cupcakes once they are cool. Top with remaining Fruity Pebbles cereal. Enjoy!

This Recipe Can be Doubled: This is a great cupcake recipe for a party or function. Simply increase the ingredients proportionately and split it into two baking dishes before baking.
