Pineapple Coconut  Poke Cake

INGREDIENTS

▢ yellow cake mix ▢ crushed pineapple ▢ vanilla instant pudding ▢ cold milk ▢ Eagle brand condensed milk ▢ Cool whip topping ▢ bag coconut ▢ sugar

STEP 1

In a large bowl follow the preparation directions on the box for the cake mix.

STEP 2

Pour cake batter into a prepared baking pan sprayed with cooking spray and then bake.

STEP 3

Take the cake from the oven and use the end of a wooden spoon to carefully poke holes in the cake.

STEP 4

In a small saucepan boil the crushed pineapple with the sugar. 

STEP 5

Pour the pineapple syrup over the still warm cake and let the cake cool at room temperature.

STEP 6

Mix the pudding with milk and condensed milk.

STEP 7

Spread the pudding mixture on top of the cake, and then spread the cool whip over the pudding.

STEP 8

Add coconut on top of the whipped topping. Refrigerate the cake and let it get nice and cold

STEP 9

Serve and enjoy!
